Friendly, growing and social running club that meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Woolmer Hill Sports Club. The club caters for absolute beginners through to top club runners.
A bowling club that operates from the Haslemere Recreation Ground. The season runs from April to September with a full programme of club competitions and matches during this time.
Haslemere Hockey Club is a thriving club with over 450 playing members and exceptional facilities. They field 8 mens and 5 ladies teams as well a thriving junior section which caters for all age groups – U6’s through to U16’s. The hockey season run from September to March.
The Haslemere Swimming Club aims to promote swimming in Surrey by providing a competitive swimming programme alongside a structured teaching plan. All swimmers are encouraged to fulfil their swimming potential with competitive training programmes up to international standard. The club runs a thriving ‘Swimming Academy’ programme with swimming lessons on a Saturday evening and a growing Masters Swimming Squad.
Haslemere Sub Aqua Club is a friendly scuba diving, training and social club with around 30 members. They own two club boats, fully kitted out for diving. The larger is kept on the south coast during the summer, readily accessible for getting out on dives around Sussex and the Isle of Wight whenever the weather allows. The smaller boat is based in a boatshed in Haslemere all year, ready for action locally or further afield. They run a programme of dives throughout the summer and run monthly pool training sessions throughout the year. These take place on Thursday evenings at 9pm at Haslemere Leisure Centre.
Haslemere Tennis Club is a friendly, inclusive tennis club with a diverse membership of almost 500 adults and juniors. All members are welcome to join in any one of four weekly 'mix in' doubles sessions or if you would prefer to polish your skills, individual and group coaching is also on offer. They also run a singles ladder and enter 14 teams in the LTA regional club leagues. The club is situated on Haslemere recreation ground where you will find 4 well maintained floodlit club courts. They also have a mini court and a further 3 courts which are available for larger events and tournaments.
The Fernhurst Tennis Club have 3 top quality, all weather porous asphalt courts at Fernhurst recreation ground. The club also enjoys access to a pavilion where you will find the Fern Cafe, changing facilities and comfortable meeting areas. The club has approximately 250 members. There are numerous opportunies to play in weekly club roll-ups, self-organised, friendly games, league matches for club teams, and intra-club matches in the local LTA county league. In addition there is ad-hoc play for non-members.
Grayshott Tennis Club provides playing opportunities for members of all ages and standards. They have 3 hard court tennis courts, 2 of which are floodlit. They offer adult and junior sessions and have teams in both the Summer and Winter leagues. They have regular mixed doubles events, friendly inter club matches, club tournaments throughout the year and an annual Summer tournament.
Frensham Pond Sailing Club welcomes new members, both experienced sailors and those wishing to learn. Frensham Pond is a club for all ages, all abilities and all seasons. It is a club of about 350 dinghies with the common interest of sailing in the lovely setting of Frensham Pond. Organised racing takes place every weekend throughout the year as well as on Wednesday evenings in the summer.
BUGs is a netball club based in Haslemere, Surrey, that gives players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to progress within the sport. Established in 1988 the club is well respected. Several junior teams are entered into local leagues and tournaments. Older junior members are given the opportunity to play within the senior teams to help gain experience by playing higher level adult netball. The juniors are also given the opportunity to learn umpiring skills and can be supported through sections of their D of E. Senior teams play in local leagues in Farnborough.
The Surrey Karate Academy teaches traditional karate and welcomes all abilities. Children from age 6 upwards can join, as can adults. Lessons take place on Wednesday evenings at Shottermill Junior School. Gradings are conducted regularly at the club.
Excel Gymnastics Academy offer recreational gymnastics classes for children aged 4 – 16 years. They run classes 6 days a week in 2 nearby venues - Amesbury School in Hindhead and Woolmer Hill School in Haslemere.
Liphook Golf Club has an 18 hole golf course and is rated 53rd in the UK in the Golf Monthly Top 100. Visitors to the club are welcome.
Haslemere Town Youth Football Club promotes football for boys and girls locally.
Mens football club in Hindhead, with 2 mens teams playing every Saturday and a vets team for over 35's playing on a Sunday. Training is currently every Thursday with a 7pm start at the playing fields, Marchant Hill, Beacon Hill, Hindhead, Surrey
Affiliated with Hampshire FA, Grayshott Youth Football Club promotes youth coaching in a friendly atmosphere for boys and girls from 5-16 years. Focus is on enjoyment and development. Training takes place on a weekday evening with matches played on a Saturday or Sunday in the North East Hampshire Youth or Surrey Primary leagues.
Fernhurst FC have 6 junior teams training on a Thursday evening and playing matches on Saturday with South Surrey and North East Hants Youth Leagues. They also have fun sessions and training for reception, Yr 1, 2 & 3 on a Saturday morning at Fernhurst Recreation Ground. They're hoping to also have an adult team shortly.
Beacon Hill Football Club was founded in 1990 and now boasts more than 460 playing members across junior, youth, and senior age groups. They also have over 120 girls playing football at the club and a disability team.
JK Coaching provides football and sports coaching services locally. It offers a number of different sessions, including After School, Lunchtime and Breakfast Clubs, as well as Evening and Weekend Sessions. They also have their own JK Football Academy on a Monday evening at the Edge Sports Centre.
Haslemere Rugby Club aims to provide a fun, supportive and safe playing environment for Girls, Minis, Juniors, Colts and Seniors. Senior training is at 7.30 pm every Tuesday.
Mini & Junior training is at 10 am every Sunday. There are also female rugby teams in Haslemere. Haslemere BlueBelles has three youth teams: U12s, U14s & U16s.
Rugby Tots is a dynamic weekly play sessions for boys and girls aged 2-7. Classes are held every Saturday morning at The Royal School.
Founded in 1827, Haslemere run 2 league sides, Colts U8, a Sunday friendly side and an Ashurst mid-week side.
Chiddingfold cricket club is a thriving cricket club with three senior teams and seven junior age groups from U7-U15. Junior coaching takes place on Wednesday and Friday. There are also winter nets.
family-orientated club with four men`s teams playing both league and friendly matches with our new ladies side playing softball cricket. Junior coaching and games for every age from under 8 to under 19 plus a dedicated girls group and fun sessions for our popular 5 to 7 year old ALLSTARS.
Grayswood Cricket Club is a vibrant and family-friendly village cricket club. It offers All Stars Cricket for ages 5 to 7, Dynamos Cricket for ages 7 to 11, Girls & Women’s Cricket from age 11, Junior League Cricket for Boys and Girls ages 8 to 17 and Adult League and Friendly Cricket for ages 13+.
Hindhead Cricket Club is a mens cricket club in Hindhead. It has 2 mens teams playing in the L'Anson League every Saturday and a friendly team playing on Sundays. Training is currently every Wednesday with a 6pm start at the playing fields on Marchant Hill in Beacon Hill.
A community cricket club in Fernhurst for men, women & juniors aged 7 upwards.
Lynchmere Cricket Club put out teams on Saturdays and Sundays from the beginning of May until the last weekend in September. Their teams are a mixture of age and youth. This is in line with their policy to welcome players of all abilities who are looking to play cricket for the enjoyment of the game and in the right spirit.
Zumba Fitness Classes are held on Mondays from 7:30 pm – 8:15 pm at Hammer Hall. Zumba mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
Haslemere Performing Arts Ballet, Dance and Theatre School offer a variety of lessons each week ranging from Musical Theatre to Adult Tap, Ballet and Streetdance.
Swallows Trampolining Club (SWTC) offers a range of sessions for children aged 5-17 years of age. All sessions are mixed ability. Whether you have previous experience, or you are a complete beginner, every member will be coached at their individual skill level and will follow their own development programme.
